B Cell Design has the exclusive licenses for the three mice models: HAMIGA™ GammaPrim™ and InEps™ for which B Cell Design is the co-owner of the patent.
The insertion of a human cassette carrying the gene of the immunoglobulin heavy chain constant region in the endogenous locus leads to the expression of human chimeric antibodies directly by the mouse lymphocytes. Therefore, these mice are secreting antibodies with the following properties:
only one human isotype per mouse line
the heavy chain constant region is human
the variable regions are from the mouse
the mouse's complete immune repertoire is maintained
